Grenade – Epitaph To My Dog
Grenade was a favourite dog of the little Miss Brabazon’s at Brabazon Park Swinford, who’s family The Brabazons built the town of Swinford in the mid 1700’s. The dog passed away in 1869 and was buried with full honouring beside the tennis courts. The house, which was demolished in the 1980’s, was located where the yard for Aras Attracta now stands.
